Islam means submission to Allah through Tauhid and to surrender to him trough obedience.

Islam has five pillars:

1. Shahada – the Declaration of Iman (Faith)
2. Salah – the five daily prayers
3. Zakah – the compulsory charity
4. Sawm – fasting in the month of Ramadan
5. Hajj – the pilgrimage to Mecca, if possible

Knowing Islam has three principles, namely:

Ihsan means excellence. It has one pillar:

1. to worship Allah as if one could see him
